Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a Director of Marketing to support our team. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work is dynamic with a clear focus on supporting the deployment and scale of our Game Warden DevSecOps platform.

As Director of Marketing on the Growth Team, you will contribute to the company’s strategy as well as lead a cross-functional team in the planning and execution of marketing efforts including product marketing, content marketing, social media, podcasts, and more. You will be responsible for internal and external communications, liaising with key stakeholders in implementing product go-to-market strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Be the expert on Game Warden’s use cases, personas, and value propositions to inform and lead go-to-market motions and the product roadmap
  • Create and execute functional marketing and communication strategies for a B2B and B2G enterprise PaaS product in alignment with company objectives and goals
  • Craft narratives around target personas according to market research and competitive intelligence
  • Refine company and product messaging, positioning, and brand attributes
  • Oversee a team in the implementation of marketing efforts
  • Set and administer budgets, policies and procedures for the marketing function
  • Guide market research and design marketing plans for company and product lines
  • Engage among company senior leadership to provide status updates, collect feedback, and assess direction

Skills You'll Bring to Our Team

  • Proven, successful marketing and communications efforts in B2B PaaS/SaaS marketing
  • 10+ years of related experience (marketing, product management, operations, or strategy)
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with diverse staff across teams
  • Mentoring & leadership skills to foster a young small team and grow their success
  • Fluent in marketing tech stack tools like Pardot, Hootsuite, Webflow, Google Analytics, Google Optimize
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors or direct agency-side experience
  • Strong project management skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a strong interest in matters of national security
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or related field. Masters is a plus.
