ABOUT THE ROLE
Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a motivated Enterprise Cybersecurity and IT Lead to support our team. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work will be dynamic and wide-ranging with Operations supporting the deployment and scale of our Game Warden platform.
As the Lead for Enterprise Cybersecurity and IT at Second Front Systems, your responsibilities are to integrate and manage business and security tools that support the entire Second Front team, including responding to outages and providing technical assistance to other team members when required. You will drive cybersecurity audits and attestations for the corporate organization, ensuring connectivity to the controls for the GameWarden product. You will be responsible for helping to select the right tools that enable Second Front’s business, and ensure that those tools can be integrated with existing IT systems, and can be implemented with advanced security features to limit the risk of data loss. You’ll champion automation to reduce cost, both in manual engineering effort and dollars. You’ll prioritize documentation that allows both internal and external end-users to clearly understand our systems and processes. You will be leading a small team of IT specialists, which will include employees, contractors, and interns. Finally, you are responsible for learning new things, solving big problems, speaking your mind, and contributing to a culture of diversity, innovation, and excellence.
Note: This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Achieve and maintain industry cybersecurity attestations for our corporate environment (CMMC, SOC2, ISO27001, UK CyberEssentials).
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements for remote management and security of end user devices, and security of IT products and services.
- Maintain an identity access and a management system that syncs across multiple business systems, creating a seamless user experience
- Track physical equipment and software licenses for company purchased products
- Supervise IT support functions by operating and maintaining a user help desk/ ticket system, integrated with company messaging systemsImplement automation to create efficiencies in IT process for both hardware and software
- Ensure documentation of our systems and processesCoordinate activities with VP of Security
Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team
- Comfortable working on complex IT problems, striving to find unique solutions to problems.
- Knowledge of and experience with cybersecurity and risk management frameworks including NIST 800-171, CMMC, SOC2, ISO27001.
- Support IT strategy by collaborating with officers and senior management to set organizational vision and strategy and to determine how technology can best service the business.
- Key stakeholder to drive an agile and responsive team responsible for maintaining a secure and stable computing environment with maximum system availability and performance.
- Manage the Helpdesk function and provide best-in-class customer service including assisting in troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and providing technical support when needed
- Enable faster and smarter business and security processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights.
- Extensive knowledge of GSuite, LDAP, and Okta integration and administration
- Understanding of SaaS and API integrations, the security implications of connected applications, and opportunities for automation
- Knowledge of AWS cloud administration and security configurations
- At least two-years of experience managing IT and/or cybersecurity teams
- Developing and maintaining end-user training documentation in our internal user knowledge base.
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to obtain a Secret-level security clearance
- Certification(s) in cybersecurity, cloud administration, network administration, and/or IT operations that meet DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) baseline for the IAM III and CSSP Infrastructure categories.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Pulumi, and Go
- Have a strong interest in matters of national security
