Bio

As CEO and Chairman of the Board of Second Front Systems, Tyler leads efforts to accelerate the connection between emerging technologies and the national security community. He also supports the broader defense innovation ecosystem through roles as a mentor at Black Flag and a Partner at the nonprofit Silicon Valley Defense Group.

Tyler previously served as Head of National Security at CalypsoAI and founded the tech consultancy Future Tense, which he later sold. He has advised numerous early-stage startups and headed up the emerging technology and security team at Toffler Associates, a futures-focused consulting firm.

A graduate of West Point, Tyler began his career as a U.S. Army officer.
