ABOUT THE ROLE
Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a motivated Capture Manager to support our team. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work will be dynamic and wide-ranging supporting the Growth Public Sector Team by leading strategic capture efforts to secure contracts and opportunities related to defense, intelligence, and homeland security.This supports the deployment and scale of our Game Warden platform.
Note: This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.
What You'll Do
- Specific responsibilities include:Identify and assess potential business opportunities related to defense and intelligence contracts
- Respond to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements)
- Work with Growth Public Sector team to develop and maintain a multi-year pipeline of opportunities, develop and implement bid strategies, proposal approaches and technical solutions, and lead written proposals for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers and partners
- Work in a fast-paced IDIQ environment featuring agility and responsiveness to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community mission requirements
- Collaborate with the field and partner sales teams to drive business growth and best practices
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and the expertise to support sales managers, account executives, delivery managers, and solution architects in development of innovative cloud-based solutions, proposal win themes, and differentiators
Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team
- Previous experience with government acquisition guidelines, regulatory environments, security protocols, and compliance requirements
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key government agencies, military branches, and intelligence organizations
- Experience with collaborating with subject matter experts, retired military personnel, and industry partners to gather intelligence and insights
- Extensive experience in capture management within the national security sectorIn-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, security clearances, and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with defense and intelligence community structures, processes, and key decision-makers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 8+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
- Familiarity with defense and intelligence community structures, processes, and key decision-makers
- Strong interest in matters of national security and emerging technologies
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Strong network within the national security community
